Heimdall - Let Homey watch over your home

Sorry, I was away for a few days. i just turned the delay function on. I’m going to test it this weekend.

Hi Jakob. Do you have any suggestions on how to set up this flow if there are two windows/doors open so that it works with the speaker? When I have one door open, it works for my Google speaker, but when there are two #warnings, it is silent. Notification to the timeline works with 2 warnings, but not saying it out in the speaker.

Hello. I would like to start a flow when a curtain person has enabled or disabled the alarm. I see that it is writen in the heimdall logging, but i can’t start there a flow with.
Is it possible to include this feature in heimdall?
Thanks.

This has been discussed before, as soon as Athom adds functionality that exposes which user performed a action on a device like selecting a status I will add such a flow card.

So -please- raise this request at Athom!

Perfect. That would be great. I will request homey, @DaneedeKruyff. But it is also not possible by the heimdall logging? I made many users in the heimdall app that can enable or disable the heimdall alarm, but are not part of the homey users.

  1. I don’t want everybode to be able to turn off or on device’s by giving everybody access by a homey app.
  2. People like my mother don’t want to install another app from what they don’t understand how it works.

I bought a frient keypad that for them is easy to use. Place a NFC card or token and enable or disable the alarm. And i would love to see which user enabled or disabled the heimdall alarm.

Is this request really only possible by athom homey?

The thing is, right now a user is only known when an external keypad is used, Ring, Frient but only a small percentage of Heimdall users use a keypad, so for most this flowcard with a user tag would simply not work, resulting in lot’s off support requests why the tag doesn’t work.
As said, it’s been discussed before in this topic, I understand it’s a lot of posts, but all information can be found in this topic.

Thank you. I will search thru this forum.

I made the request by athom homey. I let you @DaneedeKruyff know if i get a response.

Hello @DaneedeKruyff.

I contacted Athom for the problem of distinguish of users in the heimdall app. I told them there is a problem to see which user activated or deactivted the alarm while in survaliance security mode of homey. They said they couldn’t help me. Only by request of the developer of the heimdall app.

Hi Pieter,

Did you already approached Athom?

Sorry, i hope i don’t request to much. I love the Heimdall app. But if this request is implanted i will give this app a 10+

Typical.
I’ve been in contact with Athom about this, directly with Emile, he couldn’t give me an eta, and told me it isn’t a priority. I can’t give it a higher priority, I had the hope if user would express their desire for this Athom would act upon it, but clearly I was wrong.

Sadly it is. I think this request went only to customer service, and stayed there. We did our best. There is nothing more we can do. For now thanks for the great app.

I was hoping for that too. That the user who enabled or disabled the alarm could retrieve it from the Heimdall logging. However, @DaneedeKruyff indicated that it caused many errors and was therefore not possible, unfortunately. Hopefully, he still manages to get it to work. It would be very helpful for me to know who disabled my home alarm, as I could do that with the Ring keypad. Especially since I switched to Frient keypad RFID, which does not transmit that information when used with Heimdall and not locally.

Please translate your post, this is an English topic

If you know it so well ;). Then program and share it

Hi everybody,
I’ve got a problem with frient keypad and heimdall.
I can activate easily full alarm or partial alarm.
My problem is when full mode is activated. I remove the main door of the alarm but I have fibaro motion sensor which is detected me. Even if I desactivate alarm during the tempo (20sec) I have to do twice : first one stop the “future” alarm and second desactivate alarm monitoring.
I don’t understand because it’s the way if the alarm is triggered after tempo, but before it’s unlogical.
Thanks a lot.
Ced.

Hi,

I can’t really understand what your’re doing, could you please explain in different words what you mean with

Also, the next part, I guess the tempo you mention is the Alarm Delay, when all is configured according to the instructions in this topic all you would have to do when the Alarm Delay is active is to switch the Surveillance Mode to Disarmed

Do you have flows configured on top of the actions your keypad takes, if so, could you please post some screenshots of them here?

Thanks for your answer. So I’ll rewrite my question.

When the surveillance mode is activated, if someone is detected (motion sensor or door/window opened), I have to do twice on frient keyboard to disarm : first one is stopping the alarm during the delay so the alarm doesn’t ring and second one to switch off the surveillance mode.
If I do only once, the surveillance mode is reactivated like before the detection.

Thanks.
