Heatpump IDM ALM 6–12 integration

Hi,

I’m writing you as an IDM heat pump owner (model IDM ALM 6–12) and as a happy user of Homey.

Right now there’s no simple way (at least as far as I know) to bring the IDM heat pump into Humi. It would be great to have an integration or app so we can read data, monitor the system and maybe trigger some basic automations from Homey.

Would this be something you could imagine developing, or at least looking into?

If it helps, I’d be happy to:

  • share details from my IDM ALM 6–12,

  • test early versions,

  • give feedback from a real installation.

I know this kind of work takes a lot of time, so this is just a friendly request and not a demand. I just wanted to put the idea on your radar, in case it fits with your plans.

A quick Internet search learns that your heatpomp supports MODBUS. There is an app for.

yes, that’s exactly what my own research has shown as well. I’m already testing it, but I really can’t get any further with it, and it’s anything but user-friendly.

That’s why I think a dedicated app/integration would be very beneficial – not only for me, but also for many other owners.

So the App will also have to use MODBUS .

Ask you question in this Modbus app. If it is not going to work, the app will neighther.
