Google TTS Speed Parameter Issue After Upgrading from Homey 2019 to 2023

I recently upgraded from a Homey 2019 to a Homey 2023. Previously, I had no issues using the Google TTS app to adjust the speech speed. Flows migrated from 2019 using TTS from Google still works, but I can not make any new flows using TTS from Google.

However, now the app only allows me to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for the ‘slow’ parameter, but it seems to expect a numerical value (e.g., 0.5, 1.0) for speed. This results in an error message stating that the field expects a numerical value.

Has anyone else encountered this issue after upgrading? Is there a workaround or an alternative way to adjust the speech speed in the Google TTS app for Homey 2023? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest to move to the https://homey.app/en-nl/app/com.google.tts/Cast-a-text-to-Google/ app.
Works perfectly @ Pro 2026

Thank you!

I don’t fully understand which app you’re referring to. I don’t use Google Cloud services.
