I want to create a flow that the shutters open when the smoke/co-alarm goes off. In Google Home there is no starter for an automation with the Protect related to the alarm. I don’t have any experience with a (virtual) switch in Homey but my assumption is that this won’t work if I can’t make the relevant automation in Google Home.
Ah yes, when it isn’t possible (yet) to have a Nest smoke sensor start an automation, it ends here.
Did you try “Create automation” > “household” > “when there’s a device activity” ?
Because you can’t have devices start automations via “Create automation” > “personal”
That’s no usable trigger. I’m afraid you have to use Martin’s app anyhow
