I have this great tuya based gate opener, but it is internet/cloud dependent. I would like it to work locally.
Do any of you know of a product that can work locally through Homey?
Yes, use wifi devices which can operate locally, like Shelly.
Or use devices which use zigbee/z-wave/433MHz.
Looks like a Normally Open (Output: NO) contact which shortly closes the contact when the door needs to open or close.
I added a Fibaro FGS parallel to my physical button to simulate a button press, but could be any switching module. (I would stay away from wifi and get a zigbee or z-wave device for such purposes)
The Tuya cloud is pretty stable though, I never had any issues with it.
