I have an advanced flow that I run every night, which is called “Go to bed”. This flow turns off all lights and music, locks the door and sets the personal status to “sleeping”. This works out great, but for some reason, the last couple of weeks this flow is started without being triggered.
So I am at home, and suddenly all the lights turns off and the main entrance gets locked. In the app I can see that “I am now sleeping”.
Anyone who have experienced something similar? Is there a way to see how the flow is triggered? Is it from the app, a switch or something else?
Welcome on this forum Martinka, I remember running in to this once. Does your flow contain a ˵Start-card
˶ ?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply!
Yes, it does. I have a widget on my iPhone with multiple Homey flows, on of them is the “Go to bed”. And to my understanding, I need to have this Start Button-thingy in order to trigger it from my phone?
Yes Martinka you could need this, there a other possiblities with the ˵start-flow-card˶ in this flow in combination with a virual button that does start the flow.
- Virtual - Device Capabilities
- Virtual Device
Just for testing you can delete the ˵Start Card˶, see what happens.
When you use this flow to check on f.i. the lock and one of the lights, it shows some background info.
App: Device Capabilities
Instead of dim_level
, you could pick onoff
as capability to check upon
And, or,
you could check with any device in that flow, what was the cause of switching. But this shows less specific info.
Just longpress a device tile, and tap the =
