I have an advanced flow that I run every night, which is called “Go to bed”. This flow turns off all lights and music, locks the door and sets the personal status to “sleeping”. This works out great, but for some reason, the last couple of weeks this flow is started without being triggered.
So I am at home, and suddenly all the lights turns off and the main entrance gets locked. In the app I can see that “I am now sleeping”.
Anyone who have experienced something similar? Is there a way to see how the flow is triggered? Is it from the app, a switch or something else?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply!
Yes, it does. I have a widget on my iPhone with multiple Homey flows, on of them is the “Go to bed”. And to my understanding, I need to have this Start Button-thingy in order to trigger it from my phone?
Yes Martinka you could need this, there a other possiblities with the ˵start-flow-card˶ in this flow in combination with a virual button that does start the flow.
Instead of dim_level, you could pick onoff as capability to check upon
And, or,
you could check with any device in that flow, what was the cause of switching. But this shows less specific info.
Just longpress a device tile, and tap the = like icon:
I am currently experiencing my Sonos speakers randomly playing music and also trying to track down what (flow and endpoint) is causing this. It probably happens every few days and yet to figure out. I have several basic Flows for each family member to play their favourite Sonos playlist so figure related to these. Unfortunately the Sonos speaker doesn’t include a flow audit feature like some other Homey devices.
I have added some basic auditing with these Music Flows to understand if these are being executed and another Advanced Flow to track all music being executed in case its something else. I have also asked the household to not use the Sonos app until I resolve. Is there a debug mode or a running log perhaps under SSH where all logs are recorded for troubleshooting purposes?
Thanks @Peter_Kawa appreciate the post. I am across the first 2 tips, however will explore the Audit App as that looks promising.
New info just in …. Apart from this Sonos music randomly playing my driveway gate and garage door are also randomly activating (once again every few days). Thankfully they do have an audit history and advised they were activated by a basic Flow via my mobile device which is weird?
I do have both of these Flows and some music flows marked as Favourites on my iPhone which are also published to my Apple Watch …. Hmmm … the plot thickens. More auditing required. Anyone else experience this?
Adding this case here.
My sleeping room blinds roll up every day at 6:30 am. I had a flow in the past for this specific blind for the same action at 7:30 am. I deleted the flow, but keeps running at 6:30 and there is no flow for this blind. It seems a ghost flow.
Welcome to this forum Pere.
That is annoying, it seems like the same case as above, but that is not necessarily so.
Maybe it is better to share the details, like protocol, app, versions etc. Also check the info above from Peter Kawa.
Next what did you do to try to get rid of this, except deleting the related flow, such as a restart, or rerun etc.
Also check Developer to see if the unwanted trigger came from Homey. (column ˵Last Seen˶)
