Fibaro sockets randomly report all time power usage as daily use

Hi, Not sure if this is Aqara or Homey energy issue but, Aqara energy meters seem to report way to much energy usage. I guess 10x or 100x? [1000015834] I can’t image 4 led lights in my kitchen are really using this much energy it’s connected using a aqara T1 switch module. Same for the ceiling light as second biggest usage. The tv is using an Aqara plug btw and seems to report fine.

I adviced Athom to give users an option to filter out unrealistic values.
But they state “it’s not their problem”: the device should provide for error-free values.

Not sure what this firmware update means; peaks are not necessarily invalid data

This thread on the HA forum mentions erratic energy reporting by Fibaro and Aeotec devices, which seems similar to what you’re seeing. Perhaps some devices emit invalid values occasionally, and without filtering away those values they will mess up energy usage totals.
