Energy tab shows high and constant usage of a Aqara Wall switch for 1,5Kwh. I also see that the usage gives only usage on the moments the light is on. But the energy option shows the 1,5Kwh usage for the whole day with sometimes a line lower for a second and then again 1,5Kwh. Because of this it is a high energy device, but I doubt or this is real usage. I think it’s not.
Hi @Rob_Bruining ,
maybe you mix up energy and power.
The 1.5 kWh should be the complete energy consumption since start of the day/month/year/installation of the Aqara Wall switch.
It seems as if you are looking for some Watts (W) when the light is on, which means the current power (energy per time) the light is using.
So when the energy is suddenly below 1.5 kWh for a short time. That is probably the error, which happens on my homey, too.
And it would helpful, if you would support your descriptions with some screenshots. Then it might be easier for us to understand your problem.
Regards Dirk
Thank you Rob,
I cannot explain, why in the first screenshot there are 6.2 kWh, but in the energy part it says 1.5x kWh. And the downpeaks are some temporary data errors.
But it is clear, why the energy chart is quite stable at around 1.5 kWh. You need many (30) hours with 3.3W power to increase the energy remarkably (by 0.1 kWh). So you will need about 2 hours a day light to get this small increase seen in one your. So probably the 1.5 kWh and the 6.2 kWh are wrong, but frankly speaking there is no use to measure the power consumption of a 3.3 Watt lamp.
