Fibaro dimmer but without need switches

Hi,

I have these Fibaro dimmers behind push switches all troughout my house: https://www.robbshop.nl/fibaro-dimmer-2-inbouw-250w?_gl=1*1nidchj*_up*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAiAiaC-BhBEEiwAjY99qC_2oiCxAh-AkHeWNJbetCJdNVQ3vWAWv71Aa8KietP5kZd1nLioHRoCpaUQAvD_BwE. Work great for controlling dumb lights and making them smart via Homey. So far so good.

Unrelated; one of my ceiling lights was made ‘smart’ by an installer. Meaning the light always gets power and isnt controlled from a physical switch anymore. That switch was plastered over and painted. It got a smart bulb on that point and it is controlled trough homey. I want to change this light with a designer bulb, but that one is ‘dumb’. So; This won’t work without breaking open the wall again and re-making a switch.

I was thinking to place a Fibaro dimmer unit just between the fitting of the new dumb bulb and the ceiling to get the same effect as I have in all these other instances without the need of breaking open the wall and re-creating a switch.

But then I tought: maybe there is a smaller version. E.g. I dont need any physical buttons attaching, just the ability for Homey to connect so I can change the smart bulb with a dumb bulb from a nice designer brand.

Does this exist, and if so, is there one comparable or even from Fibaro? I quite like the 1x, 2x, 3x press flow cards that are lacking on other devices such as the Aqara T1 and Philips Hue Wall switch.

You can put smart switches / dimmers above the light when there’s enough room. Keeping your wall tidy :grimacing:

So placing that modal fibaro dimmer 2 is still a solid choice even with the button inout options I dont need? Ill order one immediately, because software and integration with Homey I found is superb :-). (Just tough maybe there was a smaller version just for this use case).
