Is possible to sort the devices in devices screen? In version 1.5 it was possible, but now don’t find the option to do this.
It is not, I asked Emile about this feature and was told that it was very low on their priorities. But that was with the 2.0.0 release, perhaps now 2.3 is on the horizon its risen. You can find out by either making a support ticket for ‘missing’ functionality. For support or issue resolution, first have a look at support.athom.com.

if it was just the phone app, then yes maybe, but the phone app is only +/-10% of the work they have done behind the scenes.
Of course it is a basic thing and very easy to implement. It should be from the first day
I cant say I disagree with the sentiments of this thread, including @Caseda.
I believe this is very much a case of, Athom being made aware of how important this is to what number of people. So that it cant effectively be placed at the right priority.
If you would like the ability to sort devices back, then best to make a ticket the more people who do so the more likely it will get on their list.

I’m new to the app and this is a very basic functionality I for sure would have expected.
One of the primary reasons for getting Homey is to once and for all get some proper structure and order in my smart home. That includes naming everything properly. Then I would want to put things in a neat order to be easy to find.
Athom may read some of the more popular threads, but generally this is a community forum.

Probably once we get dashboards this will anyway be not that relevant anymore, but I don’t expect those to land before end of the year.
Homey does tend to take their time, the ‘moods’ were first leaked in the “Homey in 3 minutes trailer” then took over a year before they were released
And that just moods, setting a group of lights to be a certain colour.

in the Devices view everything is displayed alphabetically…
I would appreciate a manual approach to order my icons as I want in a room (ae. all the lights first, all the plugs and the appliances…)

Use numbers in front of the names, such as:
01 Lamp 1
02 Lamp 2
etc.

but I would like something more user-friendly and ‘natural’…
everything is draggable from flows to favorites, why not in devices view ?
It’s a really long requested feature, somehow it still hasn’t reached the company’s todo lists, or it’s lost in the bottom drawer…
This really needs to be bumped and moved to the top of the priority list. It’s a basic feature that should have been implemented in Homey years ago.
Having recently transitioned to Homey from other platforms such as Philips Hue and SmartThings, I was genuinely surprised to find that it’s still not possible to re-order devices within a Zone/Room or change the order of Zones/Rooms list.
Implementing this would enhance the overall user experience and align Homey with the standards expected in modern smart home systems.
