It would be great to have an Android home screen shortcut that directly opens a selected dashboard. At the moment, there are only shortcuts (widgets) for flows, moods, insights, and dynamic prices. Being able to quickly open a dashboard from the phone’s home screen is, at least for me, essential functionality.
Currently, accessing a dashboard on the phone requires the following steps: unlock the phone → open Homey → tap “More” → tap “Dashboards” → select a dashboard. With a home screen shortcut, it would simply be: unlock the phone → tap the shortcut.
I do not know about others, but when I walk around the house and need access to dashboards, for example a dashboard specific to the room I am currently in, I reach for my phone. It is the most portable device we all have, yet accessing a dashboard on it is unnecessarily complicated.
I would love to hear other opinions and possible solutions.
