Eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights

Hi,

Does anybody have a solution for following:
I have Aqara light switch with 2 buttons that control my porch light. I also have Eufy permanent outdoor lights E22 there. I am trying to make it when i press second button on Aqara switch to turn on/off Eufy lights. There is no app/integration for Eufy Life in Homey.

I tried creating virtual switch, add that vSwitch to Google Home. Have in Homy flow to when button is pressed, press vSwitch button. In Google Home i created automation that when vSwitch is turned on to turn on Eufy lights, and when it turns off to turn off the lights. Google is acting dumb and acting like “aaaaa… you didn’t press the switch”. In other words, it’s not being triggered. I tried same thing with Alexa, but for some reason in starters i only have 1 echo device available. Have no idea what’s going on there.

Only other solution i see is to add Aqara to Google and do it all in there, but I’m trying to distance from Google and Amazon as much as possible and this is the situation where it looks like it’s impossible to do so. Any help/advice is welcome.

The Aqara switch is not connected with Homey?
If true, it should be available in Ghome.
Not sure if it will available to start Ghome automations.

When you want to lose Google en Alexa (and cloud stuff if possible), you’d buy zigbee / z-wave / Matter-over-Thread devices.
Bluetooth on Homey is not recommended, it’s not very mature.

Just chipping in on this part. I got the lights from my partner at Eufy as he asked me if I could integrate them into Homey. ( i still have to combine Eufy clean and security into 1 app).
However the lights cannot be reversed engineered, the API is similiar to the vacuum cleaners, but I can’t get past the encrypted payloads. I have searched if others already did this but seems like there’s only a really select group of people doing Eufy development.

I don’t expect these lights to be ever integrated in any smart home platform (except Google/Alexa)
