Energy meter widget

Big time user of Shelly and Homey using in on a live-abord boat.

Can’t wait for Homey dashboards. One feature I really hope you can include is the real-time energy meter. This is highly useful for a quick glance on the dashboard to see the current electricity consumption.

Including the Homey and Shelly version of this widget for reference.

It’s on our list! :+1:t2:

I was also thinking about an Energy - PV widget
At least with Fronius this can be included via HTML.

What I really miss with the new dashboard is the possibility to see WATT per type (light, ventilator, TV, media etc). At the moment I can only see per Zone. But that is not really useful. When you have a plug there are lots to choose from and I pick the one just right for it is used for and then I hoped this could be used on dashboards, but no.

I’m quite new to Homey, so maybe I missed it somewhere, but right now not all devices are categorized correctly.

My heat pump reports power usage, but that is inaccurate, so I use Shelly devices to meter the power usage of the heat pump. However, the power reporting of the Heat pump device cannot be switched off. So now I either have inaccurate reporting or it’s counted double.

In addition to that the Shelly device output is add to the Youless power meter output, where in fact it’s just part of the total number that is reported by the Youless device.

How solar panels are included is a total mystery to me.

Any pointers?
E.g. can select what devices to use and if they generate or consume power?

So far I’ve only found a setting in the Shelly that takes it out of the total number.

Using solarweb.com you can also get the chart:

You can create a group device for every device type. It auto calculates the values of the grouped devices.

I think you’d post your issues here:

@RonnyW, I am getting an old browser message with SolarWeb. How did you solve this ?

I think it depends on the browser installed on your tablet (Chrome?) used by the Homey app.
