PowerStream would be nice to ![]()
Correct. I do use a webserver running PHP that handles all the communication with the Ecoflow devices. You need a developer account from Ecoflow, but this is free.
Hi. I know itās not exactly what you are looking for but this is what I am doing. I have a sonnen battery system.
I plug my delta pro plug into a smart plug. when my sonnen battery is 100% I use a homey pro flow to turn on the smart plug which charges the deltapro. I have another homey pro flow set to turn off the smart plug when my sonnen battery drops to 97%.
If you donāt have batteries on your solar installation, but can read solar panel excess, you could tell a smart plug to turn on for a period of time, when your panels are generating excess power.
Support on EcoFlow PowerStream Micro Inverter-EU 800W would be very very nice.
If you were able to setup communication why not directly do it in HomeyScript ?
This saves you all the hassle with the Webhooks !
Iāve tried to write an app and got very far, but iām struggling a little to setup the device(s).
For now Iāve stopped the developing and fiddle a little around in HomeyScript.
With this I was (fairly ease) able to setup communcation with my PowerStream (via the EcoFLow api) directly in Homey.
With the help of some AI it cost me (only) 3 evenings ![]()
With the help of the Virtual Device app Iām showing the values in a device.
Here is how it looks like :
Iāll restart to develop the app, but due to the fact that (for now) iām satisfied with this Itās not a high prio thing for me anymore.
I have no knowledge of Homeyscript, but I could program a few things in PHP. In addition, I came across some scripts that gave me a start. Thatās how things came about. Because this is now going well, further investigation of the communication was no longer a high priority. Maybe one day, when Iām bored again.
Hi,
I bought some ecoflow devices and saw thereās no real app for it.
Iāve build an app for own use, but thought Iād also could share.
So I made the app generic for everyone.
The ecoflow devices i build are the ecoflow pro and the powerstream.
Maybe some people in different countries (other then language dutch) can look at it?
Because Iāve made the app in all the standard Homey languages.
Please do send remarks.
Iāve made a test version for a newly added Ecoflow Delta 2 Max.
I canāt test it myself. So if there are users that want to test it, please send me a message.
Hi, thanks for your efforts to create this app. Iāve got the app added and I can see the Powerstream, but no settings for the Delta 2. In the the changelog on the app store I see youāve made a lot of new versions since the release. How do I install a newer version than 1.2.0?
Ah, Iāve added the Delta 2, but had no testers yet..
Maybe you can test it and send me your findings with the log from setting and then send to developer.
The link, you can install. Still a test version, because added multiple devices in test phase.
I hope someone here can help me with the following. I recently bought a Ecoflow STREAM home battery. It is supposed to connect to the Homey Energy Dongle. Instructions on for example ecoflow.nl are pretty straightforward. However, when I try to connect my energy dongle in this way, no devices are found by the Ecoflow app.
First things I already did:
- turn on the local API setting in the advanced settings menu of the energy dongle.
- do a full hard reset on the energy dongle.
Both options did not help. Is there anyone who would be able to help me in any way?
Did you add the energy dongle first in the Homey app and did it work?
After that you have to sync with devices from other supplier in Ecofliw app.
After that you can add it in your Stream device setting. At least that how it works with other devices then the Stream serie.
Hi Ronald,
I have the same devices. I discovered that Ecoflow can only connect to the Dongle if it is connected to a Homey Cloud account. So I created a cloud account, disconnected the dongle from my Homey Pro and connected to Homey Cloud. Now the dongle is visible in the Ecoflow app, and it says that it connects to it, but in the end, it canāt read out the P1 meter, suggesting that it is a network problem. But in Homey Cloud there is no problem and I can see the P1 values. I am in discussion with Ecoflow support about this
I have the same problem. The P1 meter was connected to the Ecoflow before, until I had t o reset my dongle due to a local wifi problem. Then I removed the meter from the Ecoflow app and re-synced the Homey P1 by adding it again to Ecoflow. It synchronized successfully (so it seemed) and was added to the group (room) where the Stream is allocated. But no data connection ever since.
