Has anyone installed the Ecobee Essential Thermostat? If so which device did you select in the Ecobee App as the essential is not listed as an option?

Compared to the listed devices @ ecobee (Premium/Enhanced/Essential), you’d select the ‘Thermostat’ device
I tried that and they are incompatible. I tried the enhanced but it did not seem to work correctly. Have not tried premium yet but I will. So far it looks like Essential is not a compatible device. Thanks for the response.
I see, that’s too bad! Because Athom is the app developer, you’d write to homey.app/support to request for adding it to the app.
Have you found a solution? I want to replace my Nest thermostat with the Ecobee Essential. I don’t think I need the radar and multiple room sensors that the Enhanced and Premium models use, since we have many other sensors that already are in Homey. Did you solve this?
@Chad_Kotter No solution found for my Essential. I guess the only current solution is to purchase one of the other 2 supported thermostats.
