I have testet the temperature input CTEU 02/01, and as far as I can see it is working. I only have one binary input module in my system, but I can not find it when I search for Binary inputs. I have some spare modules I can try to add and test some more. I will try to test the motion detector as soon as I have time.
I also have a spare bridge, so I can test if the implementation of multiple bridges works.
any info on the bridge function, would be much appreciated. I’ve made some changes but these are based on educated guesses. The multiple bridges should work, but I need a tester. I’ve also changed the binary inputs.
I have a large xComfort system in place using the USB-stick CKOZ-00/14 as the interface to a Mac running IP-Symcon. And I am not happy about continuing to use IP-Symcon. So Homey is the next step for me. I did buy an xComfort Bridge, but I have not been able to successfully add anything important from my existing hardware to that. Could it be that all my actuators are too old? Should I instead invest in the SHC from Eaton? I have temperature sensors, water heated floors, motion sensors, dimmers and actuators for lights, plug-in switches. Is there an alternative to use IP-Symcon as a bridge to Homey, as it can expose everything to the likes of Apple HomeKit or Google? As others have stated, the cost of replacing the premium quality and stable xComfort is high. Is the use of MQTT an alternative? Will that expose all my connected devices or just the ones on the Bridge, which as of now is zero.
