Dumb lights + zigbee control unit + homey setup

Hi,
I was wondering if this kind of setup would work. I have 2 sets of dimmable dumb downlights. If i connect them to with something like this: ZigBee flush-mounted dimmer Triac lamps illuminant 230V - Gledopto -

And get wireless zigbee light switches.

Am I able to dim the light with wall switch and with Homey app? I watched some videos and it seem that I can connect any zigbee device even the brand is not directly supported?

Afaik that is theoretically true only for lights OnOff & Dim, and smart plugs OnOff functionality.
