I want to use Homey to clone a 433 MHz remote for a projector screen that doesn’t have an app.
I bought a Homey Pro mini a while ago for other stuff, and I saw that the Bridge can add 433 MHz control to it, so I bought one of those too and set it up in Satellite Mode. I went to add a 433 MHz device, and got the oft-discussed “Coprocessor Not Connected” error that there’s plenty of threads about on this forum.
I contacted Homey support about this, who told me that it was a known bug and that there was no timeline for a fix. As I said in another comment elsewhere, I find it a bit ridiculous that this is marketed on the main Homey website as working if there’s a known bug preventing you from actually using it.
This seems to be a long-standing issue, so I just want to know if anyone has had success with remote cloning lately, or if this is just totally broken? And if so, does anyone know — accepting this is broadly a community forum — if this is a software fault (so it might come to the Bridge eventually) or a hardware issue (so I’ll need a new Bridge when it’s fixed)?
