Do you know good open web/api locations for market price estimates

I am working (slowly) on advanced service to improve my own heaters timing optimization and starts to be ready for wider usage (prob. with fee).

In selected method essential (not mandatory) is to “know” future prices longer than published by Nordpool… For Finland I fetch values from Pörssisähkön hintaennuste / nordpool-predict-fi/deploy/prediction.json at main · vividfog/nordpool-predict-fi · GitHub for 7+ days and for those values make some adjustments (e.g. adaptive corrections, adding 15min typical behavior)

Was searching few times, but have not found similar data source for other regions (especially Scandinavia in my mind), and that would limit potential release to other price regions.

If you have good hints for open web/api forecast price sources, appreciated if you share here (or link me to other discussion to fetch that data)

Idea is to have very simple api for heater(s), where always 7+ days advices are available and updated every hour (as new data comes in around that often). Then on web, all configuration, visuals for future siulations (below) and more…

    Lets add also simulation from beg. 2026 to see winter challenge with realized pricing (simulation done on “what did know at that point of time” bases :slight_smile: (diff. heater, same location)

My coming week should look like this :slight_smile: (and improved every hour as sources like weather, price forecasts etc keeps chanding at that phase)

Waiting now for “EU Power Forecast” API keys, but did not ask for non-scandi data-sets (assuming in your “interest” is NL?). If you are interested as test user, let me know and I will ome back to you when “time has come”…

My server has already simple WEB & API for DIY (using with my Homey already), also (not yet tested) Shelly Script (reporting and advice), as planning to move my heater controls (expect setting values) 100% out from Homey & Telldus (used as link to remote location) this summer…

But if testing, consider some slo-mo, as too much other (family) things as well…

Oh I’m in no hurry at all. Yes I would be interested in Dutch data but that won’t involve that many changes I presume. But that’s my problem, not yours :wink::wink:
