I have a Deye hybrid inverter (SUN-20K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2) together with the Deye Smart EV Charger SUN-EVSE22K01-EU-AC (7/22 kW). The inverter data is already in Homey Pro via the community Deye Inverter (Local) app, which works great.
The charger is not covered yet. It talks to the inverter over LoRa (solar-only / smart charging) and has Wi-Fi + BLE. It is visible in Deye Cloud, where I can set schedules, current (6-32 A) and charging modes.
Does anyone:
- have experience integrating this charger with Homey (or Home Assistant, which could be a starting point)?
- know of a local protocol or a Deye Cloud API that supports charger control (start/stop, current, mode)?
- already work on a Homey app for it, or would be interested in building one? I am happy to test and share logs.
I am also asking Deye whether the cloud API supports EV charger commands, and will report back here.
Thanks!
