Developer needed: Homey Pro driver for Airzone Aidoo Z-Wave Plus (AZAI6ZWXDA1)

Hi everyone,

I am looking for help developing a Homey Pro driver/app for the Airzone Aidoo Z-Wave Plus (AZAI6ZWXDA1).

Current situation:

  • Homey Pro 2026

  • 5 identical Airzone Aidoo Z-Wave Plus modules

  • Devices include correctly via Z-Wave

  • Homey only exposes basic On/Off

  • No thermostat mode, setpoint, fan mode, or temperature capabilities are mapped

According to Airzone documentation, the module supports:

  • Thermostat Mode

  • Thermostat Setpoint

  • Thermostat Fan Mode

  • Sensor Multilevel

  • Notification

So the module appears to support the required Z-Wave command classes, but Homey currently treats it as a generic device without a dedicated driver.

I am looking for either:

  1. a community developer interested in building this driver, or

  2. recommendations for a Homey developer experienced with Z-Wave device drivers.

This is a real project, and I am open to sponsoring the development if needed.

If useful, I can provide:

  • device model and installation details

  • screenshots from Homey

  • Airzone integration manuals

  • exact expected capability mapping
