Connection issues Fibaro Dimmer 2

I’m a new user of Homey Pro. In my first days I have many problems to connect the Fibaro Dimmer 2. In the project I need to install around 10 pieces. After many hours I just installed 2 pieces, but this process can’t be normal. The hardware install is easy. After connecting the fase wire, I see the installation proces is starting and finish positive with a green led. Now I need to connect the Dimmer 2 in the Homey software.

  • I start in Homey new device, select Fibaro, select Dimmer 2, then I get to 2 step progress. I can’t get this working after 3 times click the b button.
  • I try already to use Homey Bridge really close few centimeters by the Dimmer 2.
  • I try a different “Dimmer 2” on the same lights
  • I try different “Dimmer 2” on different lights
  • I try to push the 3 click fast, slower on different moments. Can someone tell me exactly what is the right time? With the green led, after the green led?

I hope I give enough information. Maybe I’m doing something small wrong. But I can’t find it.

Do you have 5 devices added to the Homey Bridge?
You talk about a Homey Bridge, is it a Bridge or a Pro?
If you need more then 5 devices on the Homey bridge you need a monthly subscribtion.

It’s a Homey Pro with an extra Homey Bridge. So the subscription isn’t needed.

I have some contacts with robbshop.nl

They give me some information about the situation. It’s a big house with quick big space in and around the house. I started with Homey Pro and I ordered also 2 Homey Bridge modules to put on different places in the house and garden. They told me that the Homey Bridge is not repeating the z-wave signal from the Homey Bridge location to the Homey Pro. This was a total surprise for me. There advice install a second Homey Pro only in satalite modus. Beside this install more Aeotec Signaal Extender Z-Wave Plus Gen 7 on strategic positions. In the next days I go test the situation. I keep this post updated.
