Connecting 2 homey energy-dongles to homey pro

is it possible to connect 2 homey energy dongles to homey pro ? I have an electricitymeter and a smart meter for the solar panels, in the homey app I see only 1 dongle, hope somebody knows

What is mark off your “smart meter” for your solar panels.

I think there will be maybe a app for your convertor (like Solaredge, Solis, ect)

the smartmeter is kwhiq but I don’t know the brand of the panels, they are directly connected to the meter

You’ll need a matching Homey app for your solar panels, not a P1 dongle.
If there’s no matching app for your inverter(s), consider using Shelly power clamps to measure the solar output power & delivered energy, and connect the Shelly to Homey by wifi.

That is not possible. All solar panels need an inverter in order to deliver power to the grid;
Most probably they’re connected to Enphase Micro inverters, mounted under each panel, the 230V output is connected to your utilitybox .
There’s alternatives, but Enphase is pretty common (educated guess)

Your installer should’ve provided you credentials and tell you which phone app you should use to monitor your panels.
Ask them which brand & type of inverters are installed at your place.

Then you can check the app store for a matching app:
https://homey.app/en-nl/apps/browse/#filter?category=energy&platform=local&type=local

thanks for your reply, I have an app from the provider but I can only see the previous day and not real time

No problem.
Odd, most apps show actual PV power and energy values, in order for you to decide which devices should be turned on or off.

In that case the power clamp option is your best shot. When you’re not into electricity, do hire a certified electrician to connect the Shelly unit to 230V and put the power clamps around the live wire(s) from the panels.

I installed homey self hosted server on my pc and can now see both energy dongles, so that is solved, only problem is when I shut down the pc there is no longer any information in the homey-app on my tablet so the pc must be powerd on 24 hours a day, maybe homey pro is a better option

Where’s the second dongle connected to? Do you have 2 smart utility meters? I can’t get a clear picture of your system.

And yes, Homey SHS should run on an “always on” system. Like NAS, Raspberry Pi, mini PC asf.

I have one meter for the electricity and a seperate meter for the solarpanels, so I can see the total generated energy and how much I returned to the grid
