Any experience on connecting HiSense Airco’s (remote accessible through ConnectLife app) to the Homey Pro?
There is no app for it yet. You should request an app here:
ConnectLife is working on their official Homey-app, you can find the test version here. Do note, for now only dishwasher are supported but more device types will follow.
@Doekse do you have any update/insight what’s happening with the ConnectLife app? Seems no new devices have been added and none of the support links are working on the app page. Has this been abandoned?
Their support link doesn’t even work. That’s strange, since AFAIK a working support link is required for official apps
The current plan is to have additional device types available before IFA in September. The limited number of supported device types is also the reason we haven’t made any public announcements yet, so their team is actively working on expanding support.
As for the broken support links, that’s definitely an issue. I’ll flag it with their team.
For some background, the app is developed directly by Hisense Group rather than by one of our development agencies or a community developer. With organizations of this size, development and release cycles can sometimes take a bit longer.
