Ways to workaround it:

  1. Before removing a device, you can check in which flows it’s used. Not 100% accurate though (flows with logic cards holding the devices’ tag aren’t detected).

Or
2. Install Flow Checker app, then

    1. First disable the app of the device
    1. Flow checker reports the breaking flows
    1. Screenshot the broken flow list
    1. Enable the app of the device again
    1. Screenshot the devices’ cards, make sure to store them in a folder with the flow’s name

Or
3. Just restore a backup to see what cards it actually were
