Currently the wifi password input field is a standard text field. This means that when you need to type in the wifi password (for example when adding the Energy Dongle) in the Homey app, the keyboard app of your phone/tablet handles it as standard text, thus adds it to its dictionary. Passwords should not be saved by the devices dictionary.
There is a stupidly simple fix for this:
What is funny is that all community apps that I use make use of this, for example the MQTT broker is able to handle passwords perfectly well. This means that the Homey software would also perfectly able to handle passwords.
The first time I reported this was january 2023. Almost 4 years ago.
