Hi,
I recently migrated to HP 2023. I have been unable to add my EasyAccess lock back. I’ve moved the hub to the lock, I’ve moved the lock to the hub, and still no success. I’ve tried pressing the button on the Zigbee/BLE module in various intervals, but no luck.
Doesn’t seem to be a thread for the app here on the forum, so I guess I’m simply asking if anyone else has been able to get this to work. The lock worked as expected up until the migration. I’ll eventually try adding it to the old Homey to check if that’s the issue or not.
And you updated your Homey to latest version - at this moment RC71 ?
Anyway, app seems to be supported via email - homey-nimly@drenso.nl , so try to contact them directly.
Thank you for replying! I updated to RC71, looks the same. I’ll try the old Homey, and report to Nimly per email based on those results. Thanks again!

Hi
Did you find a solution for this? I bought three locks yesterday and had no problems adding them. But I realized that my zigbee network didn’t work very well so I did a reset of the zigbee network and now I can’t re add the Nimly locks. Everything else is connecting as it should.
Best regards Fredrik
The lock can be difficult to include. I had issues on both the HP2019 and HP2023. But it included after several attempts. Never moved the HP2019 or the HP2023 close up to the lock. Included in intended place. About 7-8 meters between the Hub and the Lock. At every attempt, i pushed the little button on the Zigbee-card until it blinks rapidly yellow (about 12-15 seconds of holding the button). I did reset the lock when the Hub was searching for the lock. If not found in about 30 seconds after the reset period, i pulled one battery and reinserted. This is the method i have had best luck with. Included the lock againts Hub maybe 6 times, of various other reasons.
Hi Marius
Thank you for responding. I actually got one of the locks to connect again and I didn’t have to push the reset button.
I have tried multiple times with the other two. With one of the locks the connect module suddenly stopped blinking and is now not showing any signs of life. Took another connect module which is blinking so it looks like it just died for no reason.
I have had a really hard time just getting the connect module to reset with the rapid blinking but even when the reset seemed to work it will not connect.
Sounds like you maybe should try some new batteries. Did you try searching for the lock in Homey, reset the lock and pull the batteries/reinserting when searching, as i have done? The reset button is very small and not easy to keep pressed when the lock is hooked up to the outside module, so i understand that it is not easy to successfully do the reset procedure.
When you reset your Zigbee Network, did you stay on the same Channel, or did you change it?
Regards
Marius
The locks are new since yesterday and so are the batteries. I have tried two more times and got the rapid flashing so the reset seems successful but no connection is made. I will try to move the Homey closer tomorrow and see if that helps.
I am pretty sure the channel was switched when I did the reset but I am not sure which channel I had before.
Another question, You said you test both HP 2019 And 2023. Is it possible to restore the backup from a Homey 2019 to Homey Pro 2023? I am thinking of doing an upgrade.
Yes, you can restore, but your Zigbee network won’t be restored. You’ll just have to add back the devices to the Zigbee network
I find that the most reliable way to rebind is to hold the button for about 15 seconds, to the rapid blinking starts. It doesn’t necessarily bind then, but if you THEN remove the battery and reinsert, it’ll work.
When the lock isn’t installed, the module will reach much further. That’s helped me from having to move the Homey, but once I had to then remove the inner part to get that extended range for the binding to work. It’s never failed with the method above with the Homey in close proximity and the lock not installed.
Also, the current test version of the app is v3, which now has individual models for all the locks. Just append /test to the app URL
Thanks for the reply. I have tried this several times but it just won’t work. One of my modules works just fine and I can re add it without issues. I don’t even have to make reset with the one that works. I tried the v3 as well but no difference.
I have been in contact with Nimly and they will send me two new connect modules. I hope this will solve my problems.
I’m getting tired of Nimley. Got my second module for my lock now.
The first one worked for 4 days. Had it replaced on the day. The new one has lasted exactly 2 weeks, and now it cannot be reset either. No light or anything from the module. I wonder if they will accept another complaint from me on this one.
That sound really bad
Haven’t got the new ones yet but I hope they will work better.
Anyone uses Nimly here that have some good flows?
I succeded added my Nimly now and it goes through 2 other devices before it reaches Homey.
I have a virtual device called “Autolock” that sets if the lock should automatically relock. When I turn off the autolock device, a flow turns off autolock on the lock. Also ensuring that the lock is locked and autolock is on every evening when going to bed.
Hi. I have tried it several times but there is not rapid blinking no matter how long I press the reset button. Any suggestions?

If it doesn’t start rapid blinking even when holding the button for 60 seconds, then I guess something’s wrong with your module. Ensure batteries are fresh, and if they are, contact Nimly I guess?
I did it. Thanks for your suggestion.
Today or tomorrow should arrive a new module and I’m going to test it.
