Can I change "direction" on a ventilator?

I’m thinking about mounting a ventilator in our bedroom, modulated by CO2 sensor in Homey Pro.

Is it possible for me to control the direction of the air flow like:

[IF] [sensor co2] > “1000ppm” [then]

  1. turn on ventilator direction OUT for 2 minutes
  2. turn on ventilator direction IN for 2 minutes
  3. turn off ventilator

Ie. so I remove co2 air from the room and then “pull in” fresh outside-air.

You have to make that happen on the ventilator. Depending on the type of motor, you have to change something in the wiring, and install a switch to activate and deactivate the change. Are you willing to open your ventilator to do some rewiring?

EDIT: if you remove CO2 from the room, new air is coming in from outside some where. Isn’t that fresh enough?

If it’s a DC motor in the fan, just swap + and -

How to do that with a (probably 2) smart switches I would not know from the top of my mind…
