Best smart lock?

Which is according to you the best smart lock (brand and model) compatible with honey pro 2026?

I’m curious as well. Looking into the Nuki smart lock pro 5 at the moment. Any experienced homey users?

Ultra vs Pro 5 pro’s and con’s? Because i’m not sure why anyone would want to buy the Nuki smart lock ultra instead of the pro 5(seems more of a hassle, and is significantly more expensive).

What dou you think about the Aqara u200?

I’m really happy with my Loqed smart lock. It is now owned by Shelly.
It’s a dutch company that actually went bankrupt because the lock was incredibly well engineered, but they took a different approach to all other smart lock manufacturers.

Instead of just adding a smart lock to an existing cilinder, or worse just a mechanism that rotates a key inside the cilinder, this smart lock actually replaces a cilinder altogether. The result is a lock that is impenetrable and a motor that is way stronger than possible with a normal cilinder and key. I have pretty thick doorrubbers on an older style door and I really needed to pull the door tight before I could rotate the key without force. Therefore, I do not trust smart locks that try to close the door by rotating a standard key. I think it will be time before the key breaks.

The Loqed smart locks however has no problem whatsoever opening and closing my door by itself. On the outside, there will be a display with two touch buttons that allows you to enter a pincode, in case your phone runs out of battery. There are also two metal connectors that allow you to connect a 9v battery in case the lock itself runs out of battery. Where the cilinder would have been in regular locks, there’s now a very thick metal plate that prevents anyone to access the smart lock itself.

All the time I have the lock, it has been working flawlessly. I tested the 9v trick and it worked, but I never had to use it in real life is I get warnings about battery live way before the battery is actually empty.

From software perspective, I also think it’s rather solid. They use industry standard protocols for authentication and authorization, and access tokens are well protected.

I’m kinda happy with it !

I’m really happy with my Nuki Smart Lock Pro. Looks really good, works like a charm: works with doors with multi point closing: not knly unlock the door, but really open it, f.e. when my arms are full after doing groceries.
A lot of extra functions.

Works with Homey, but not much. Had no added value on that time.

I agree. And I bought the lock (silver one) for just over 200 euro’s in the Black Friday sale, after having seen it in action at a friend for about 2 years.
