Automatic blinds / Somfy?

Maybe a broadlink rm pro is somthing for you.
IT can learn 433mhz.
There is also an app for homey

That sure sounds like a solid idea! Then there is no position calculation, but it just replaces my remote buttons. I have looked for the device, but it seems a bit hard to find a webshop who sells them. I can find the mini, but that only does IR.

Does this seem like a trustworthy shop? https://www.lightinthebox.com/en/p/2020-broadlink-rm4-pro-smart-home-automation-wifi-ir-rf-universal-intelligent-remote-controller-works-with-alexa-google-home_p7973578.html?prm=1.5.1.1

This is the RM4, there is also https://www.lightinthebox.com/en/p/rm-pro-wifi-remote-controller-for-home-wall-mounted-free-standing_p7070210.html?prm=1.5.1.1, which one do you advise?

mmm… it seems the latest devices are not supported and the developer is not responding. …

Sounds like a difficult situation. Let’s hope that the build-in electronics stay alive, because even with an emulator, it still depends on the “old” hardware for receiving/interpreting, so if that goes to electric heaven, than you still stay in the monkey (in de aap gelogeerd) :wink:
If I find a solution, I’ll put it here. And the offer of having a look at it, still stands, should you be willing that.

You must buy a old version to make it work

I’ve been looking for such a device, but it’s a complete gamble. I have looked for it on marktplaats (dutch site to sell and trade rubish) but there was only one advertisement and it got pulled when I made an offer, I assume he already sold it.

Since there is no way to know if you are buying a new or old model, i recon most stores have new models. This sucks.

There was mentioned some guy managed to get the pro4 working through MQTT but, that is a lot of effort and a lot of components…

@Bulletcather

What about the following: ALL OF THIS IS NOW FIXED. THIS VIDEO IS ONLY HERE TO FORWARD YOU ON!!! PLEASE SEE THE UPDATE HERE: https://youtu.be/sYkep0NPiN4

I still read it doesn’t work on homey though…

It’s been a while since I last posted in this topic, but I managed to solve it.

I have bought the Broadlink Pro (all versions are supported nowdays using the community store apps). Unfortunately the BroadlinkPro doesn’t support rolling encryption systems. Copying the remote does work, but since there is a rolling encryption the copied remote changes and thus doesn’t work anymore.

Eventually I’ve bought a RFXCom433E and with this I can add my ASA blinds. It is a bit of a hassle because Homey doesn’t support it, I therefor have added them to Home Assistant and pushes the devices back to Homey. This works great.
