Auto removal of inactive apps?

Hi,

I am using the Bambu app for my 3D printer, but my printer is not always powered on.
But everything I want to print something my homey needs to get the app back installed.
The device and flows are fine after reinstall, but why is the bambu app everytime uninstalled after a couple of days?
Is homey auto cleaning apps when the devices are offline after a while?
I noticed it with other apps as well, but I cant replay that situation only with my bambu app.

How do you know itā€™s uninstalled ?

AFAIK itā€™s not.

No I dont know how it is uninstalled.
I have installed it from the store and never touched it again, but it disappears time after time again

Maybe you see a red triangle on a device tile? This does not mean the app is gone, but the connection to the device is gone.

In case of powering off connected devices, or when theyā€™re hibernated, Homey canā€™t reach them anylonger.
Somehow Homey is not handling ā€œhi Iā€™m back onlineā€ events very well, and itā€™s bad at detecting changed IP addresses.
Did you reserve IP addresses for both Homey and the printer?

When a device is unreachable (red triangle), you dont need to reinstall the app, you just need to ā€˜repairā€™ the device.
At the mobile app, longpress device tile, tap on advanced settings, tap on repair.

Or maybe even only restart the App on Homey. Actually that is what a reinstall also does. Install the latest app version and start it again. If the auto update is enabled it probably already is on the latest version.

Thanks, I will double check the next time I will go online with my printer.
But I really thought I did not see the app any more (hard too miss the app, but hey it could be)
If the device is not discovered automatically, I will try to restart the app

Just FYI when you mean the ...More > Apps app overview, it should be there, even if it crashed or was disabled or such.
