Aqara Hub M100 installed. Just info :-)

Installed Aqara Hub M100 to Homey Pro as matter device.
I had too many zigbee devices. Some of my devices disappeared.
Moved/added Aqara temperature/humidity and Aqara single button to the M100 without problems
They end up in homey as matter devices and not zigbee devices.
Probably because i added the M100 as matter.
Have not moved any more devices to the M100 yet.

This is just info to those who might do the same

You are aware that the maximum zigbee devices you can add to that is 20?

Emile once wrote a Pro 2023 should be capable of controlling “up to” 200 zigbee devices in perfect conditions.
Now let’s divide that by 2 to get realistic, 100 devices:
How many is too many in your case?
Just curious!

I had 16 at one time but then 2 simply disappeared
No matter how many times i tried added the two missing devices the could not get them back.
Including changing battery of course. Standing besides the homey pro etc.
I have no zigbee bridges only enddevices according to homey development
Just put in the M100 and they connected to the M100 without any problems and even with the old batteries

No but problem for me

Oh, that’s odd. The 2 devices might have been dangling on the end of the range?
When starting with Homey, I’ve had 12 Aqara sensors w/o additional zigbee routers throughout my home, it ran pretty stable @ Pro 2019. Distances were 4 - 5 meters max, 1 walls and/or 1 concrete ceiling in between. One sensor inside a freezer.

Again just out of curiosity, did you try to solve it, or was immediately adding a M100 the ‘solution’?
I can imagine when you tried several things w/o any luck, you buy an other zigbee controller in the end

Yes it was odd :frowning:
They were the furthest from the Pro but had worked for months until they suddenly disappeared.
That is why i thought batteries first.

Even a meter from the Pro 2023 with new batteries it could not find them again so distance should not be a problem.
Also turned off the Pro one hour so the zigbee devices should rethink the route to the Pro.
No luck …
The devices where in the scripts and device list but there simply was no data received.

Also tried a repair device with no luck.
That is why i deleted the devices and tried to add the devices again with no luck.

I could probably have done a factory reset but did everything from scratch but have so many scripts that i did not have time for that.

I could not think of other things to test so added a aqara hub to the aqara devices and everything worked
