Zwave doesn’t need login, it’s not cloud related, maybe a device pin code has to be entered, but not login credentials?
Sorry for the VERY late reply; been swamped, very swamped, at work. So to answer the question, no, it was not a wifi module in the Yale locks; I specifically wanted the Z-wave modules so that the batteries wouldn’t drain too fast which is a known issue with Yale’s wifi modules. But since the developer of the Homey integration app (yes, the OFFICIAL app for Yale with Homey) literally told me it wouldn’t work with Z-wave and that there is no plans to support it, I really DO have to now buy the Wifi module… when I find the time. Super disappointing.
Anyone have any update? I am use to z wave locks, but interested in the finger print.
