Working on support for the ecowitt ws90. Some beta tester available??

If you are interested PM me, prerequisites:

  • Ecowitt WS90 - 7-in-1 weather station
  • A shelly that you can run a script on, like the BLU Gateway och a Plug that is kinda close by, but if you have the Ecowitt in the shelly app I guess you already have that.
  • Install the mqtt server app in homey MQTT Server
  • I will give you a link to the beta-app
  • Config the mqtt, add the ws90 device and enjoy the values :smiley:

I have room for some more testers if you have a Ecowitt and don’t want to use the zigbee integration. This does BLE and mqtt.

I have a weatherstation of Shelly, I’m interested to test so I can use it in Homey. Its not possible via the Shelly App right now.

Thank you for the great work! I followed your instructions for running the server on Homey and now I can get the data from WS90 in Homey! I run the script on a Shelly 2PM Gen4.
All working flawless.

Hi, I stated before that I’m interested in testing, and did se that Heribert did get it work. Is it possible to test? I have all the requirements (multiple Gen3 Shelly’s near by the weather station).

Yes, sorry for the delayed answer. You dont have to change the BLE script. It was just the instructions that where wrong. The script has included everything. The github folder script is always right.

Short question: is a hub necessary to use the ecowitt ws90 on homey?

I recently purchased the WS90 and set it up yesterday using a Shelly 1PM MINI Gen4 as a Bluetooth Gateway with your script. I’ve already added it to Homey and I can confirm that it is working perfectly!

All the data (wind speed, temperature, humidity, etc.) is flowing into Homey without any issues. The integration via MQTT is very stable. If you need any specific logs or further testing for the beta, I’m happy to help.

Hello, I am inters3d. I have a WS90 without Shelly

I can’t find the app in the phone app. If I try https://homey.app… in the browser I find the app, click install, then I have to select account and then a page comes up with is rather empty. Nothing is installed on my homey.
