There is no need to migrate your existing devices to the new app, you can just keep using it as is!
Absolutely not! As you can keep using the old app, you can also keep using your favourite gen1 devices!
We will keep maintaining the app as long as enough users are still using it. It is actually open source, so even if we stop in the far future, the community or you can still use it.
We do not, as it simply isn’t possible with Homey without requesting full system API access which we obviously do not want. And as the old app can still be used next to the new one, we also believe that such a migration is not even needed.
Hello, I’ve been using the Presence Gen 4 successfully for a few days now.
But as of today, it’s no longer accessible; the following message appears, as shown in the image. What does “Initializing…” mean? Unfortunately, the app doesn’t have a feature to troubleshoot the device, as is common in some other apps. What can/should I do?
The app was updated today to fix an issue with the Input component. Are you running the latest version? If so, it is probably best to try to restart the app, sometimes Homey messes with the updates… Otherwise you can generate an app diagnostics report from the app settings.
Can you please send us an email with that report id? That way our system automatically retrieves the relevant report from Homey and we can help you best! (you should have also gotten an email stating something similar.)
Everything will become available at some point, but we do prioritise devices that are getting requested more often (which was the case with the presence sensor, we got multiple requests in a short period of time). So, make sure to send us an email so that our counts are up to date! That way we can also let you know when the device you’ve requested is added to the app.

The pill is working now as expected. Hover I have new issues with paired Shelly Flood Gen4 over Zigbee. When alert goes off it is visible in Homey and so flows can be triggered. However in many cases Homey is not resetting the flood state and keeps showing flood state even when buzzer goes silent. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Should I try Matter instead? Cheers

Correct, Sven, it depends on the local API feature of the newer Pro models.
