Homey can not communicate with zaptec after this update
Oh, no. I found an issue with Homey versions prior to 12.3.3:
âFixes an issue that resulted in apps receiving a deviceâs energy property set to
null
instead of an object.â
Do you mind checking your running version? (in settings â general)
Version 12.2.1
New patch released now. Does it fix your problem? I also recommend updating Homey to latest version 12.4.1.
Thanks, updated to 12.4.1 and all works well again.
Hi. Great to hear Go2 is working. I think there is no way to stop the charging once authorization is done, when in standard mode. You say the charger is in automatic mode. Do you mean âEcoâ-mode? Can you then start/stop the charge from Homey? Can you please explain why you can not have it in standard mode when operating it from Homey? Unfortunately there is no documentation on how to change chargemode, so for now it is not possible to add this as a flow card.
In Eco-mode you can only override starting the charger from the Zaptec app. Unfortunately.
Hi. I think Zaptec Go can only change the values on all phases simultaneously. Can you control what values are set in the portal when you use 16/16/13 ?. Seems like in the Zaptec app one set them together: https://help.zaptec.com/hc/nb/articles/31950255424529-Hvordan-endre-ladestrømmen-for-Zaptec-Go
Hi!
I really mean charging mode âAutomaticâ; in the Zaptec app, I get the following options (translated from Dutch):
1: Standard charging (current can be managed manually in the app)
2: Planned charging (charging at pre-determined interval)
3: Automatic charging (managed by Zaptec Sense, connected to P1 meter)
My charger is set to the third one, since Zaptec Sense will only work in this mode and otherwise the 16A limit would be exceeded every now and then.
Regarding Eco mode; I do not use this since I use Homey to optimize charging intervals.
If I recall correctly, authenticating is required before Zaptec charger can initiate charging, right? Also when using Homey to send a âstart chargingâ command? Otherwise the solution would be very simple; donât authenticate and then leave the charging interval to Homey.. but I guess thatâs not how it works.
Hi Philip, thanks for the app!
I prefer to have power usage as the status indicator for my Zaptec device in Homey. Every time the Zaptec app for Homey restarts, the status indicator changes back to âany alarmâ and I have to change to power usage again.
Hi. I have tibber. Is it possible to disconnect them from controlling my zaptec go. It would be easier to automate for example solarcharge
