[APP][Pro] Weather from Yr.no

Hi Bjørnar,

Yesterday the “Rain next 30 minutes (mm)” tag suddenly disappeared from my Værvarsel device:

  • The tag no longer shows in the picker or under capabilities.
  • All flows that used it now display the red “unknown tag” error and won’t run.
  • I didn’t update the app or reboot Homey before it vanished.

Do you know why the 30-min rain value dropped out, and is there an easy way to get it back—or an alternative solution I should use?

Thanks!
Frode

Im not getting any flows up from this app, neither on PC og mobile. What am I doing wrong?

Hilsen Christian

Did you install a device after installing the app?

I would like to see colored warnings like Yellow for high risk of forest fire or rain. Orange or Red warnings to.

Hi. is it possible to get the hazard warnings that are sent out on yr into the app?

Would be nice to use in flows

Looks like the textual forecast is no longer fetching data correctly.

I also see that fetching a forecast still throws an error.

Hi,

First of all, thanks for a wonderfull app.

May I ask for an additional card? I am living well above the arctic circle and need a function when I can not use before/after the standard sunrise/sunset in the date & time cards. It would be of great help when the weatherforecast app could have a card named for example ‘dark time’ where this period is sett by the apps longtitude. This could then be used as an addition to the standard cards mentioned above.

Thank you very much!

Try the MET Alert app if you want weather alerts from Metrologiske Institutt. Here you cant get alerts in yellow, orange or red from your location. App here:

Samme problem som flere over her, tekstvarsel hentes ikke riktig.

Hi everyone

Can someone point me to where I can find more info on how the weather definitions work?

Say I would like to check for snow, do I then have to check for all the different variations of snow - or do I just select the one called “snow”?

The same goes for rain… There are 12 variations of rain and one plainly called “rain”. Do I just select “rain” or do I need to check for all 12?

Hello!

I feel there’s something wrong with how the app is showing different results, from sensor view to widget view, but also in comparison to the forcast on their website the prognosis is very different?

The sensor view here I think is correct, but I feel the prognosis in the widget is somehow wrong? The weather forecast changes but the temperature has been the same for a few days without change. And when temperature ganges it shows a 4 degree difference.

That widgets you are showing is not the same as the weather app. Homey weather widgets is not collected data from yr.no so thats maybe why you get different values
