I’m currently on vacation (by train), so I won’t be able to test any features, but I think this’ll do the trick ![]()
thanks for that!!
will check tomorrow when the car is used.
is there also the possibility to add the fuel% next to the SOC for the hybrid/fuel models?
and maybe also the KM until service? it now shows days until inspection and that is a huge number (640 days
)
I just released the following capabilities on testing
-
measure_range.diesel (km)
-
measure_range.adblue (km)
-
measure_range.gasoline (km)
-
measure_range.electric (km)
-
measure_range (the total in km, this already existed, but only for EVs)
-
measure_fuel_level (%)
-
maintenance_due_km
-
oil_service_due_days
-
oil_service_due_km
It’s currently waiting for approval, but feel free to try them out on testing ![]()
Works great!!
I am a bit worried to set the update timer on a too short interval as that was an issue with the previous VW app blocking my VIN for a day…. Anyone encountered stis with this app as well?
The possibility to change the polling interval from flow would be the way to fix that and adjust the polling to the usage (I.e. least polling interval the night but frequently polling during charging/day time)
Thanks for making this app ![]()
I released this action flow card on testing, you can install it for yourself
, but I expect it to take a while until I release it because it seems that the window heating is not stable for all cars yet.
Hi @Rob_Hagemann , Hi @Bloemendaal ,
As I plan to buy a Skoda Elroq, I would like to know if this app now works with it, or only with VW ?
Thanks a lot for your answer ![]()
Hi @Herve69 ,
I have the Elroq (really nice car
), the app only uses different endpoints than VW.
Too complex for me to fix, hopefully @Bloemendaal finds some time to develop a driver for Skoda, I will test for sure.
Hi!
Sorry for the delay. As of right now, I have the login for Skoda finished. Jasper is working on Cupra and Seat, but there’s just no reliable way for me to test the app without actually owning a car… I’m open for suggestions, but it’s really hard to debug something you don’t own.
Don’t expect anything the next few months, because I’m really busy with projects at work and I just got a girlfriend (which is the death of most IT projects, I know, but I’ll do my best to keep the app running)!
Hi,
Sure it’s not as easy with a girlfriend ^^
I’ll have my Elroq in a feuw months, probably in September. I’ll probably b eable to help you testing it if needed ![]()
Thanks a lot !
I get a status code 400 when i connect my 2018 polo what does that mean?
My ID.4 connected perfectly without any hickups
Hi @Mak_H!
I just released v1.1.27. This version helps with booting the app when Volkswagen gives 4xx errors, such as the one that you see for your Polo. If after the update no capabilities show up, can you then enable logging in advanced settings and send me a diagnostic report? That’d help me a lot with figuring out why this happens ![]()
@Bloemendaal Are you releasing a Cupra app in the near future or is someone else doing that? That would be awesome. I was looking into connecting my Homey to HA to use their integration because I am getting a Cupra in August.
How can i test for you for a skoda?
Do I need the VW Connect subscription for this app to find my cars capabilities?
Sorry for the late reply, the v1.1.27 update helped me.
I will Enable logging, when and how do i send you the logging data?
There’s no info for my polo, even though i have a lot of info in my VW app, is that a limitation of my car or your app? do you have plans to ad something for the 2018 VW polo highline 1.0 l TSI GPF
The range is not updated anymore in latest. I have two cards now
- range and ev range and both are not updated
[edit] I repaired and everything seems to be working again
Unfortunately the range stopped being updated. Soc gets updated, but there is something wrong with the range
You can go to more in the bottom app drawer, then apps, Volkswagen, settings (top right corner), send diagnostic report
v1.1.28 is currently in testing & under review by Homey. It should release soon. It fixes the range issue. There’s a bug in the Volkswagen API that always reports 2-3-2026 as update timestamp (at least for me), which prevents the app from updating the values. I switched it temporarily to another timestamp that represents similar values.
It seems that this is different for each user. The app should display the same things as the mobile Volkswagen app. If you need a subscription there, you also need it for the Homey app. If it doesn’t display the same things as the mobile app, feel free to send me a diagnostic report.
