Without sealing. It just sticks to the inside wall of the refrigerator.
Nice, I just put one in the fridge still not 100% sure about the freezer, also because low temperatures drain the battery very quickly i would think?
My Aqara is running a year in the freezer. No problem with battery.
Only problem with the Aqaras I had outside if it`s cold and rainy and humidity near to 100%. Then the cold battery is collecting some condensation water.
Standard Aqara temp/humid sensors
While it is a humid sensor, it should be able to function in a damp/humid surrounding. Some guys have 'em hanging right over the showerhead, and I got one right under the cooker hood. Working for months now
And donât put plastic bags around them, while they cannot measure the humidity then (it canât hurt if you only care about the temp measuring)
And yes, batteries in a freezer are draining a little faster.
@Arie_Laxed Hi Arjan, is it possible to add
measure_ph
as sensor value? Thanks in advance.
@Peter_Kawa: Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately measure_ph is not a capability provided by Homey. I donât want to add any custom capabilities, because then Iâll be adding them for everything.
I get it, no problemo Arjan! Thanks for your reply.
Peter
I wish to add a own icon, i uploaded a .svg and added the device, but the icon in blankâŚ
Are there any specific rules where this .svg should match on?
Are there any tools to create a own svg?
If you use the web app: first add it using the phone app. After that itâll be visible in the web app
Hi all,
Thanks for creating and maintaining this app.
I recently got to use it to create a virtual LED light and use a flow (link) to send the command to my ESPEasy connected LED ring.
This works pretty well as long as you control the device in the Homey app.
However, if I control the virtual device with a flow, I see that the device status changes in Homey, but that the flow above (to actually control the device) doesnât get triggered.
Is there anything I can do to change this?
Appreciate your help.
PS: Apologies if this has been asked/addressed before. A quick search did not show any results.
Hi Rick,
It looks like you added a virtual knob / button.
Try it with a virtual light instead. This thing can be switched on an switched off. A knob only gives a pulse.
Hope this makes sense
The light then must have the on/off capability.
Here an example of a virtual light (read: switch) which is switched ON in an other flow, and triggers this flow this way.
The other flow which switches it ON:
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your help.
To my knowledge, I did add it as a light.
What I added: Device>Light icon>Light class>Several properties
And to make sure, this works:
Color change of virtual device (in app) â Flow triggered by change â Command to device (HTTP request)
This doesnât work:
Color change of virtual device in flow â Color change of virtual device (by flow) â (Not triggered) Flow triggered by change â Command to device (HTTP request)
Try to change the WHEN card type from âpressed / has changedâ into âis switched onâ
Just changed it, but same result.
Manual change works, change through flow only changes the virtual device, but does not trigger the flow to send it to the actual device.
Hi! Been reading along a bit but still new to homey so forgive me if this might be a silly question:
I have two Hue lights. I created a VD lamp with hue color capabilities. This VD shows up and I can set its color.
Now I am trying to make the two hue lights change to the color I set in that one VD. But I canât seem to find such flow cards?
It sounds like a modus vdevice.
That one has an extra card. It can be switched on and off whithout sending triggers.
Try to replace your VD with a new one, and make sure it is like:
Add Device (NOT modus)>Light icon>Light class>Several properties including on/off
My vdevice happens to be a modus type.
I can select âSwitch it Onâ and "Switch it On without sending a trigger. Make sure you select âSwitch it Onâ
Created a new device (not modus) and changed the flows, but the problem persistsâŚ
Pls share both flows
This is a test flow to change the color randomly every second: Gedeelde Flow | Homey
This is the flow that sends the command to the device: Gedeelde Flow | Homey
Note: Also tried the 2nd flow (again) with the âWhen switched onâ trigger, didnât work either.
i tried to add the icon using the phone app now, when i choose the icon i can see it in the app but when i press the button to use it i get an popup message:
could not find that pairsessionâŚ
