I can now add my smart button correctly and it shows battery data but the button presses don’t get passed through in test flows! Getting closer!

Side question: Is it possible to remove the tabs for a device where they’re not applicable? Eg. On a device that doesn’t have a power button (AKA no listener for that function) can you hide that tab?

Perhaps the same can be true for motion sensors. My motion sensor only has light and motion, yet there are readouts for humidity, temperature and contact.

I think the battery is correct, but temp and humidity is not working atm.

I had this same “could not get device by id” error too.

the next version might fix your issue :

  • Fixed ‘could not get device by id’ errors in FlowCardManager.js
  • Added protective device reference validation to ALL flow card handlers (conditions + actions)
  • Prevents flow crashes when device references become corrupted/invalid
  • Resolves button flow integration issues reported post v5.5.215
  • Enhanced error logging for better debugging of device reference problems
  • All registerRunListener handlers now validate args.device before access

Affected handlers: temperature_above/below, humidity_above/below, battery_below,
has_motion, is_open/closed, alarm_active, set_brightness, dim_by, brighten_by,
set_color_temperature, set_target_temperature, increase/decrease_temperature,
identify_device, reset_device, send_custom_command + more

Hello, my TS0041 is not recognized as a switch and is installed as a virtual device that cannot be controlled. Can this be fixed?
