I’m trying to interview a Tuya Zigbee device via Homey Developer Tools but I don’t have any copy button. Only Interview and ping. Where do I find the JSON to copy?
If I recall correctly, you first need to perform the interview. When that completes, Homey shows you a screen with the results from which you can copy them.
Thank you. I needed to wait a bit longer. It takes a while when the interview is completed and then a popup to copy appears.
There are around 500 open requests. Does anyone is still active there?
i’m trinign to solve myyself all the pr and issuien [APP][Pro] Universal TUYA Zigbee Device App - lite version - Apps - Homey Community Forum best regard
Ultimate Zigbee Hub | Homey there is the latest version
So Im using the test version now (0.2.73) since thats the only one which supports my device (TVO)
but.. uhm .. when will the test version finally be the release stable version?
Also .. I have a TZ3000_ywagc4rj TS0201 LCD temperarture sensor
And I think i have found a bug
On the LCD it says the humidity is 46% and in my homey it says 4,6%
Not sure why you are relying to my post, but I have no idea when the current test version will be promoted to a stable version.
You’d have to reach out to the developer.
Please use the issue tracker as mentioned in post 1 of this topic.
I’ve bought 15 second hand Tuya Zigbee smart sockets. Two of them turned out to be WiFi, but that’s ok’ish. The guy that sold them to me used Home Assistant, so I guess he just added “Tuya smart sockets” using the Tuya integration not being notified if it was a WiFi or Zigbee plug.
However, 3 of the smart sockets are being recognized as “generic Zigbee device” and displays only kWh and not Watt:
Either the devices are broken or I need to reset them to factory settings. How can I do the latter?
Just not fully supported
I just bought 10 of those as well, and I’m having the same problem. Any guess already on how to fix this? It’s weird, every time I try to connect them to Homey it says the connection is taking too long, and after that message the socket connects as an unidentified Zigbee device.
Just wonder is this app still being support ?
Well, I’m afraid that, after one year of update-silence, you could assume it isn’t.
Alternative: Universal Tuya Zigbee | Homey
Did you buy them new or second hand? I have the same thing: it states that it takes a long time and then it adds them as unidentified Zigbee devices.
If you did buy them second hand, one of the solutions could be to find someone who has a Tuya (Zigbee) bridge connect them to that, reset them to factory settings or something like that and then try to add them to Homey.
I don’t know of any way how to properly reset them to factory settings.
I bought them directly from AliExpress, so they should be as new as possible. I had thought about connecting them for an update or something, but the only person I know who has a Zigbee bridge told me he has never had any updates for them. When you find a solution, please keep me updated so I can try it as well. I’m thinking about returning them to AliExpress, but I’m not really a fan of that.
Well in that case indeed I think they’re new and this is just what it is.
The stupid thing is that the thinner sockets you can get in green, orange, white, and blue worked perfectly, but are twice as expensive.
