[APP][Pro] Tuya Zigbee App

It’s beginning to sound like your Homey is starting to fail, with all kinds of random issues.

Hi Johan good evening and thanks for your reply.
I’ve been having problems for a long time, sometimes the Wall dimmer is working fine and now it’s not working again lately.
This is the Diagnostic code:

Hope it will make sense for you.

Thanks again and best regards,

Hi Johan,

I want to inform you that I just tried to setup another ZigBee network with a seperate ZigBee gateway in the standalone Tuya ZigBee app and added the Dimmer Switch and there it’s working fine all the time.
Just to make sure the Dimmer Switch is okay.

Best regards,

Hi Robert good morning,

Why do you think the Homey is starting to die, can I do a specific test to find out or do you or someone else know what’s wrong with it and is it a common problem.
And I find out here in all the different community groups that I’m not the only one with ZigBee problems.

Best regards Peter.

Because your Homey seems to be having random issues, like the Tuya app disappearing.

There are no specific tests.

That’s true, but the app disappearing isn’t a Zigbee problem.

Okay Robert thanks for your reply.
I just changed the power adaptor from a 3 to a 6 Amp one see if that’s making any difference.
I keep you informed.

Best regards Peter.

A good 3A power supply should be more than sufficient, I don’t think a 6A will fix anything.

@johan_bendz I have the same issue since the last update. Restarting the app solves the problem temporarily

Thanks !
Can you confirm it works well with homey pro 2023?

Hi Robert, it’s just to be sure that the 3 Amp version is stable.

But how do you know that the 6A version is stable? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: (a USB power supply that can provide 6A on a USB A port sounds very suspicious)

Hi Robert, it’s a charger from my phone that delivers 6 Amp to the USB A port.

Hi Christopher,

I don’t know if it’s working on HP23, I’m using a HP19.
You have to try or someone else needs to confirm it here.

Good luck and best regards,

Peter.

@johan_bendz again crash of the app

A blank report… :frowning:

Can you please create an issue at Github regarding this, better to have the discussion regarding bugs there as I can collect more info in one issue.

Dear Johan, I have the following problem. I have two curtain modules (both are type _TZ3000_vd43bbfq). After adding them to the list of devices, I can control the individual devices perfectly from the list of devices. No problems here.

However, the problem is in the way instructions in the flows are executed. If I call both devices in a flow, only the device that was added to the list of devices as the last, is responding to the commands in the flow. What is interesting is that the device that was added as last also responds to the commands (open/close) for the device that was added as the first.

This behavior does not result in an error message.
The consequence is that I am not able to control one curtain module (the one I added as the first) in my flows.

I look forward to your response.

Hi @Koos_den_Hollander, thanks for contacting me. I see the problem in the code and will have a fix available asap. Please report back if it works (or breaks anything) as I don’t have the device myself to test.

// Johan

:tada: We’ve hit a major milestone with the Tuya Zigbee app—over 500 supported devices and counting! :rocket::sparkles:

From smart lights to sensors, switches, and everything in between, your home just got a whole lot smarter (and let’s be honest, a little cooler too :sunglasses:).

Thanks to everyone who’s been along for the ride. Whether you’ve contributed code, shared feedback, tested new devices, or simply enjoyed automating your home—this milestone is as much yours as it is mine! :raised_hands:

And to top it off, the number of open issues is rapidly dropping too! We’re now at 305 open and 510 closed… and counting!

What’s next? Who knows! The sky’s the limit when it comes to smart home magic.
Here’s to many more devices, more automations, and more Homey magic!
