Maybe it’s a language related issue, as it does work for me. Maybe you could try setting your homey language to Dutch and see if it works then? That way you could pinpoint or rule out a language issue.
On v3.2.8.
Interesting:
- using a classic flow, things work as expected.
- using an advanced flow, things work incorrectly
Not sure whether cards in advanced flows behave differently…
Will report to Robert Raaijmakers in git.
So here is some more info (shared via github with Arie):
- when triggering at 0:01, the flow fails expectations and returns “niets/nothing” on the right dates.
- when triggering at 1:01, the flow succeeds by returning “GFT/BEST/REST” etc. on the right dates.
As it turns out, there seems to be an issue with how locales are treated. This is now understood by Arie. He will be looking into this bug later.
Nothing wrong with the flow, just with the App author’s expectations. He will take a look into this in due time.
For now I will trigger the flow at 1:01am and I am happy.
Just FYI.

Time zone or summer time issue?
@ The Developer: Could someone add: Gemeente Westland Afvalkalender to the homey app?
Dates for GFT are:
But no message today, so test also with result no pick-up (but the date is in the list):
This with Cyclus.
@Wilfred_Greven Why do you think that?
I also use that card and today i get a whatsapp message an Google tels me that tomorrow something wil get picked up.
I use in the card “iets” (something) and that isn’t working anymore. When i use “GFT” it is working.
At this moment i don’t see where the problem is??
I use in my flows papier, plastic, GFT etc.
I have tried now to make a flow with “ïets” like this to test it.
And when i run this flow i get a message on my timeline,
Vandaag word de groene container opgehaald.
Did you try to restart the Afvalwijzer app or restart Homey?
I did earlier this week and today again: restart homey and restart app.
I have made the same flow as you did, tomorrow is collected paper and this is what i get:
Have you checked the data in the app?
There should the available data been visible.
And install the app again without removing it first?
The data are there. I am going to install the app over the app and see what happens.
Same for me. I realized I hadn’t got a message for a few weeks. Strange, as it always worked flawlessly before.
Did some testing for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow: nothing. Changed the kind of trash to the one being collected: no message! In the debug info the dates are correct, so I expected a message.
Reinstalled the app, no result.
Here the same. App re-installed no difference.
The problem is started round July 9 and before it worked for years.
Mine garbage-collector is RWM.
Mine also, RWM. Strange thing is that the dates are correct. Perhaps the format to check the dates changed?
In the instructions the developer writes that the date has to be dd-mm-yyyy:
Can anyone write down the format of the dates in the app on which garbage is collected.
Mike, what do you mean?
I only show what i see in my app.
