Hi Monit, thanks for your response. I will try your suggestion
Hi Glenn. I had the same problem as you when I was trying to add the p115 in the Homey app on my phone but when I tried in a browser on my computer it worked ![]()
Any chance P300 will be supported soon?
Thanks! This helped me out, had the same problem.
Hi,
Thanks a lot for this great app ![]()
Could you please add my p110M : D8:44:89
Thank you very much
No matter what i do, nothing works. I have the official version, and it works fine, but with my P110 in this, nothing. When i use Homey on my android phone,. it crashes after the initial screen, but on the PC web version, i do get to enter the fixed IP and search, but nothing happens. It has a static IP, but nothing happens. Ive made report and this is the code e173c269-9c13-4c25-8e70-80ea65ef61e3.
Please advise, and also the P110 Mac : DC-62-79
Thanks for all the great work ![]()
I also can’t add any P110 devices. The app just crashes.
Hi, I have a few P115s installed , on fixed IP adress. Al works fine, also automated flows. Except when I manually switch the P115 on and I want a flow to switch the P115 off later in the everning (in case I forget). Unfortunately that does not work in my case. Homey does not get conformation that the P115 is switched manually on, and therefor the programmed flow will not switch the P115 off. I made a work arround that before switching the P115 off, Homey first switches it on and then off (however in case the P115 is really switched off it powers on and then off (not really ideal). Question therefore: Is the app able to see/detect if the P115 is manually swichted on or off, if not can that be implemented? Thanks.

I can not change IP adress on device L930.
,Cannot set Settings while this.onSettings is still pending,
dont have the p115 in australia but i have a p100 and p110.
just added a p100 to homey. switched it on manually and the app showed that its off. i will do another test shortly by manually switching it on and then setting up a flow to turn it off.
ill also do a quick test with a spare p110 i have also. planning to test this app again as well as the homey tapo official app. i’ve stuck with this app since its still local LAN. i believe the official app is still cloud based from what i read somewhere.
im fairly sure i’ve switch on or off my tapo plugs manually and homey hasnt had any issues fliping the switch to either or or off depending on what the previous state was.
ran the test on the p100. it didnt turn off when i set up a flow to turn it off at a particular time. i did switch it on manually prior to the schedule. i couldnt even control my p100 on the app or web browser anymore. got a 403 error. restarted the app and works fine with my flow. i can see you didnt have any issues switching it on or off on the homey app/web browser.
when toggling the switch on the p100 on or off it actually shows up in homey app/browser that i turned it on or off on the p100. it states turned off xx minutes ago by tapo. if i toggled the switch on my homey app it would that it did it via mobile and for browser it would show web.
i suspect it may be related to the tapo official app issue. just did a quick search on it. they suggest to repair the device so might be better to try that first.
just added my p110 to homey so will run a test on that one. i suspect its going to work fine since i restarted the app.
ill leave the test flows running for a few days to see if i can replicate your exact issue or not. unfortunately i cant get my hands on a p115 but i’m hoping there isnt much difference.
Hello, any update on adding the P300 please? Thanks a lot
forgot to post an update here. i actually left this on for about a week. havent been able to replicate the issue and its been working fine. so i can only assume it would be a particular model and/or possibly a particular firmware on the smart plug.
Is the app broken?
I’m trying to add a few P115 and after I link my account I get
Invalid Response (429 Too Many Requests)
This has been going on for 2 weeks, works flawlessly with Google and Alexa.
Hi, i have some Tapo units but none is working in homey , Tapo C520, C200, P100. the only one i can find is my L920 , i get connect to it via IP adress but i wont add any unit on homey.
please put some time to get tapo units to work on homey, it would be very greatful.
best regards
The Tapo API has a rate limit, meaning it only accepts a limited number of requests within a certain time frame. When too many requests are sent too quickly, the API stops responding. Unlike most cases where limits are applied per individual user, this restriction is set at the integration level, so it impacts all users at once.
To solve this, I’ve released a test build of the app v2.0.0. that adds local connectivity. This way, the app no longer relies solely on the cloud and avoids hitting the API limit.
You can already try it out by enabling experimental updates, or simply wait until the stable release is available.

Is it possible to get a reply when you enter the login credentials? When I enter the details and save them I don’t get any right or wrong. Even when I enter incorrect details.
