@martijnpoppen I have created the diagnotic with number 57bd6180-d5c1-4671-b28a-2288de47c7a1 after I have started the flow with the snapshot action.
I hope you can help me with finding the cause.
@martijnpoppen I was wondering if you have had time to look at the log file, and whether anything useful came out of it to solve the issue. Thanks in advance.
Martijn I have a problem with connectingbto my Nas. I get this message.
What to do?
request to https://192.168.1

@millennium1980 can you try the test version?
It worked by doing it on the desktop.
Thanks for the app! It’s working great so far with my cameras. I just wanted to let others know that I found out snapshots sometimes would not update, but it works by switching the Profile of the stream to another instead of the lowest for me…
Hi,
I changed the wifi network my Homey is connected to. It is now on a routed network to the synology server.
A connection with the “other” synology app works. However, with this app I get errors.
I’m using a specific user, with admin rights, without MFA.
If i use the local domainname (with https) i get a certificate error, the certificate is not a selfsigned certificate gives error: " request to https://..nl/webapi/auth.cgi failed, reason: unable to verify the first certificate
If i use the quickconnect url I get a json error. invalid json response body at https://***.quickconnect.to/webapi/auth.cgi reason: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
I’m using the web-app to connect, and before the network change it worked.
Any idea’s how to fix this?
@Jacques_Eding try the test version of the app it has support for unsecured certificates
Thanks, worked.
Even with a not self signed certificate.
Hello,
I had this app working since years on my DS218
But i have now constant timeouts on repair action
- I updated my synology
- Made sure my account is admin
- I’m using my xxxx.synology.me
- port 5001 for https
- the user name for “account” (not email adress)
- I updated my password on the synology page, just to be sure that isnt the issue
And still constant timeout messages “timeout, please make sure the settings are correct”
thanks!
@Viking42 please send a diagnostic report
thanks!

@Viking42 your synology.me url timesout. are you sure that works?
Yes, following adress works fine on browser https://xxxx.synology.me:5001/#/signin
@Viking42 it doesn’t work from Homey. It’s not reachable.
can you try this?
https://xxxx.synology.me:5001/webapi/auth.cgi
change xxxx to your prefix
{“error”:{“code”:101},“success”:false}
@viking42 It Seems like it’s not reachable from outside your network. is that correct?
edit: I’ll send you the report in a DM, so you can see whats going wrong.
within my home WLAN :
https://xxxx.synology.me:5001/webapi/auth.cgi
→ {“error”:{“code”:101},“success”:false}
on mobile phone with wifi deactivated:
→ page remains blank, neverending loading
for future use, solution is:
on your modem, Nat/Pat redirection, forward internal 5001 udp/tcp port to external 5001
Since Homey seems to have implemented camera streaming, I was wondering if there’s a chance that this could soon be the case for cameras in Surveillance Station. That would be so great!
