[APP][Pro] SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus

Thanks for the feedback @Phil_Bro ,

As far as I can see on my router is the IP address of my inverter the same as in my settings in the app on my homey pro. The only thing I’m not sure of is the PORT (502) and the Inverter ID (1). I left those unchanged when putting in the settings, and that worked, until some weeks ago.

I tried also by installing the ‘sungrow hybrid + battery’ and the ‘sungrow string’. But both have the same results → no data is coming through.

Hi,

Just a quick FYI.

I’m using the Huawei Emma with Wi-Fi.

It works perfectly with the IP address, port 502, and ID 0.

ID 0 even though the inverter has ID 1.

Cheers

can you send me a diagnostic report

emma is probably the master and everything talks to emma

Hi @Edwin_Biemond ,

Here you have a diagnostic report:

FYI, the inverter is connected via LAN.

All the best,

Hello!

Hoping to provide some useful info, I share how I managed to make the app work with my SUN2000-L1 inverter via WiFi.

I basically followed this guide provide by my installer for a similar HA integration:

https://github.com/wlcrs/huawei_solar/wiki/Connecting-to-the-inverter#network-connection

Using the Installer account, I enabled “Local O&M” on the inverter which opened port 6607 and (in my case) I used ID 0.

The readings doesn’t seem perfectly integrated in Homey (i.e. the battery can’t be seen in the Energy tab - maybe I’ll write a post about this issue later), but the communication is working!

@Janalyzer I read on onther HA discussion about a guy who had the inverter connected via WiFi and the dongle plugged in, and managed to make the integration work only after phisically unplugging the dongle. Can this be your case too?
