The Solar Panels app did not have a thread here, so let’s create one! Use this topic for general help and discussion about the app. I am working on some documentation around pairing inverters with the app. If you have an inverter that is not listed here and want to help, let me know and provide me …

Hi all, the Solar Panels app is no longer actively maintained. Over time we’ve invested in developing dedicated apps for individual brands, which offer a better experience and will continue to receive updates and support. You can find these brand-specific apps in the Homey App Store: Enphase GroW…

did you enable modbus on the inverter see 1st post on the solaredge forum? plus check port , modbus id and if ip is reachable from homey.

@Edwin_Biemond @Sjalabert This is off topic as it is about the solar panels app an that doesn’t support Modbus. Please move your messages to the correct thread.

Geurt, my apologies. ‘I sat with my hands in my hair for a while’. This is because there are a few flows that this (solar panels) app depends on. Due to my impatience I did not follow the forum rules for a while. My apologies. I’ll move it to the right section.

Hi Ronald, have you fixed it yet? There seem to be more people with that problem. @Diederik , any idea?

Hi @Diederik can you update us on providing an earlier version of the app through the community app store? That way Omniks user like myself can still use the app like before. Thanks for all the work! :+1:

For people having issues with SolarEdge, could you share your API key with me through slower_04_machete@icloud.com ? I will have a look.

Yes I did. When typing in the wrong password on purpose the app reported that it was wrong. Because of that I did not suspected my firewall. But is was the firewall blocking the communication. Homey is on a different vlan then Envoy. So after permitting communication between the two it was solved.

What could be done about this? I get login errors all the time. The ID and password are correct. SolarPanel v5.2.5 Inverter: Growatt MOD 7000TL3-X

Growatt works great again after removing/adding my panels from the app. Thanks, bedankt!
