New update (test 1.18.8)

Changes include

  • FIX: Detect if API is returning targetTemperature/temperatureUnit as C or F.
  • ADD: Temperature unit tag for the AC state changed trigger card.

This is now pushed to the test branch and can be installed from the above test link.

Things to test:

  • Use the Set the temperature card to set different tempreatures. The UI should now show the correct value for target temperature.

@djvagnetti, please try this test version.

There may still be some other unexpected behaviour to C/F internal conversions that needs to be taken care of.

  • removed the device,

  • uninstalled the Sensibo app from Homey,

  • installed the new version with a newly created API

and when I turn the AC on via the Sensibo Homey app, the temp dial does not respond. it defaults to 61 F, the only thing that will change the temperature is if I change to automatic mode and there it defaults to 75F…

I am available to do as much testing as you need…😊

This is not the first Homey app that has Fahrenheit temperature issues…are you implying that if I change all my settings to Celsius, my issues should go away?

Maybe yes, but this is not what I want to you to do. I want to fix it and I need you to send the app diagnostics for me to see what is actually happening inside Homey.

I do not have a Homey to test with on fahrenheit, since Homey detects the region automatically and I’m in Finland.

Hello, I would like to ask if there is a way to set up the sensibo air pro. When the TVOC quality in our house changes and rises above 1500ppb, my air conditioning turns on. This happens quite often when we watch TV in the evening. The air conditioning turns on and off 5 times. Is there a way to turn it off?

Correct. Now before sending. Did you restart the app? And run any flow card to set the temperature, lr just set the target temperature from the device in Homey.

Yes, I can see from the diagnostics that you ran the flow, but I do not see the restart of the app. There are valuable information when the app starts up to see what the Sensibo API is actually giving when querying the device status.
