Hi, Just ordered the SasWell version of this (only one I could find in US) because of all the great work you have done to integrate it. The unit is only available with the hub and ordered 2. My question is, does it work without the hub and would the hubs connect as Zigbee repeaters? Obviously, I am novice with all this. Thank you
Hi Bill_Hartmann,
I can’t tell at this time if your 2 devices will work with Homey Royal Gardineer App.
If it’s a Zigbee device with exactly same form factor and functions, there is a chance that they could work.
Maybe I’ll need to add your Device ID in App, you’ll just have to give me them (you’ll find Device ID just after paring them with Homey default driver).

SoPhos
Hi SoPhos, My SasWell devices arrived today. I used your App to include one of them into Homey. It came up as a “generic” Zigbee device with no control options. This is a picture of the info on the device. I also saw that it can be added to the Toya but I am not sure how that will integrate with Homey. Thought I would check with you first. Thank you for your help.
Hi Bill_Hartmann,
I’ve just added your device ID to Homey Royal Gardineer App.
Can you try new test App and tell me if it’s Ok with your device ?

Hi SoPhos,
Thank you so much! it was a long day at work today but I will try it in the morning.
Take care,
Bill
Hi SoPhos,
They both work like a champ! Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Bill
Hi Jan_Hnatek ,

Hello,
It is working and connected
Thanks alot for your help and the app itself
hello , a beginner’s question: every time you buy this irrigation programmer, do you have to ask here for it to be integrated into the application by giving the ID number? Thanks
Hi Thierry_Sabatier,
No, you don’t have to if you buy a standard Royal Gardineer product.
But some Homey users found that some noname (Chinese) Tuya Zigbee product are fully compatible with the Royal Gardineer App for Homey. If you decide to buy one of these, you’ll certainly have to ask for your ID integration in App.
But there is no working garantee in this case and no support at all, do it only at your own risk ! ![]()

Ok , thank you . merci Serge
Hello, I installed the programmer and it works. I would like to improve my flow map by adding in “and” that it did not rain. I don’t have a rain sensor but is it possible to connect a local weather forecast with Homey and how do I do it?
Another thing, how do you know the number of liters of water used during a watering? Is it possible? I activated “display experimental values” but I have no water consumption. Thanks
Hi Thierry_Sabatier,
Yes, you can connect a weather forecast with Homey, there are lot of App for that in Homey App Store. I personaly use OpenWeather but there are many other.
And the number of liters of water used during last watering is already displayed in device informations :

Hello and thank you for your reply.
I water in the evening, so I’m more concerned about whether it rained during the day than forecasting the weather for the next day.
On the other hand, why don’t I have an indication of the number of liters at the last watering? How can I make this indication appear in the device information? Is this information
Hi Thierry_Sabatier,
OpenWeather also gives you the current weather conditions, just take time to have a look…
To get indication of the water volume for the last watering, you need to active experimental values. Sorry, I forgot : After activating experimental values, you need to restart App !
If this does not work :
If so and water volume still doesn’t display, please send me a bug report.
As the water volume information is returned by device, I can’t be sure it’s relally accurate, that’s why this is only experimental.

SoPhos
