Hi,

Many thanks for the App. I have a XZT-120 and it’s working perfectly controlling my Daikin aircon here in Australia via Homey Pro.

However when I link it to Alexa it gets stuck on ‘waiting for homey’ in the Alexa app. The voice command says it has complied but no IR signal is sent. I’m finding the same problem trying to get Siri to work with it via Homekitty. No IR signal is being sent.

I’ve reinstalled everything and tried to find a reason but I’m coming up short. Any idea what might be happening and how I might be able to get the voice activation working?

I’m using the remote app for the ZXT-600 and I need information whether the AC equipment via ZXT-600 is ON or OFF. Is there any way to have this information?

Hi, I’m using ZXT-600. There is no trigger for changing state On/Off, but you can try this:

Translating to english will be:

  • When target temperature changed
  • And Thermostat mode is exactly Off
  • Then…

It this will not work, you can try checking state of “Thermostat mode” in interval, but thats not the best option.

Hi Dawid,
I will try to implement what I want using this idea.
What I really wanted to implement was something like:

  • When the status changes to on
  • and the window is open
  • Set status to off
    This is to force the AC to turn off even when it is turned on by its remote control.
    Is there any way to implement a flow like this?

One obvious thing which comes to my mind is use of Plug with power meter if your A/C is connected to power outlet. This will allow you to use original remote controller. Only this way you can know whether A/C is On or Off, because IR remote controller will not send this information to ZXT-600, so there will be still “Off” state on ZXT-600.

I suggest you to not use original remote controller. I’m using Fibaro Keyfob and Aeotec NanoMote Quad to turn On/Off A/C.

Also I have a flow which turn On A/C when I close all windows, and temperature is higher than 26.5°C and turn Off when any windows opens.

Hello, I’m trying to re-add an old ZXT-120. I’m able to add the device but when I’m trying to send a command nothing happens. Entering in the device settings gives me the following error:

  • in the past (couple of years ago) it was functioning
  • I did a reset to factory defaults of the device before adding it (holding the PROG button for 10 sec)
  • uninstalled and installed again the remotec app
  • restarted homey
  • added the device successfully
  • still getting the same error

Any ideas what could be causing the issue? (I created a diagnostic report if it could be helpful: 893cbc6a-1567-4b43-9c68-3d4d0967a7eb).

I wanted to ask, if there is a way to add remotec TRV (REMEZTRVV01) as it is simply the best Z-Wave TRV currently on the market and not implemented in homey :confused:

Hello guys, I need help with ZXT-600 use on USB powered

I have Senville mini split the remote code is 512 78 51 55 40 48.

I’ve tried built in code library but no luck none of them work. So, I manualy learn the code from the remote.

From learn code, I can turn off, on, Heat, Cool, Dry, Auto, Fan only mode and change tempearature.

But I can’t change fan speed and swing

Question-

  1. To learn code, In Set IR code number from built in code library Box I put ( 0 ) and pick the IR code larning command drop down ( Am I right ?)
  2. How can I learn IR code for fan speed? In the drop down command it have option to learn Dry,Auto, and Fan mode but no option to learn Fan speed. The learning Parameter value mapping table is only from 0-32.
  3. How to make it report temperature? I set it to report every 1mn but it never report It say the same temperature for the past 3 days. (it will update once when I go to Remotec app and it restart app)

I have watched Youtube videos on how to learn code and setup but no teaching for Homey.

Please any reply or idea help.

Even thought all function is not working but I loving to so far. ZXT-600 is Zwave work locally compare to other Wifi based brand will not working if no internet connection.

Afaik Pro2023/mini don’t have a IR receiver!

Early (Pro) 2016-2019 do have it, but learning IR signals can only be used when one writes an app for the learned signals.

So I bought a Broadlink RM3 mini, it works locally combined with Homey (I blocked the outgoing DNS requests to broadlink.com.cn & ibroadlink.com)

Don’t know if this is still interesting, but for someone like me still looking for this I found out that the code for Qlima is 40. Works great for me.
